MEC Foundation started the distribution of qurbani meats in Lombok Island, Indonesia, as part of the 1440H Qurban Organization.
In the 14th Qurban Organization this year, besides meat distribution, there are also meat dish service. Expert cooks prepare the dishes that suit the taste of Indonesian brothers and sisters in the aid tents of our foundation and serve them to the needy.
The distribution organization starts with Qur’an tilawat (verse 10 in Hucurat and similar verses) with the participation of attendants and visitors from Turkey, Europe and Australia. The program continues with the explanation of meanings of verses and ends with a speech on brotherhood and love. Our brothers and sisters in need living in the forgotten areas of Indonesia take their meat and head home.
